Kelly Skahan is a twenty-something Magnolia resident tackling Seattle's arts, fashion and dining scene one story at a time.
Born outside of Philadelphia but raised in Federal Way, she's a Villanova alum (Go Cats Go!) and a tortured Mariners fan. She geeks out over fashion, gardening in the city, and nail polish.
She moved to New York after college to intern and write for some cool magazines, designers, and websites before heading home to Seattle. She's worked as a barista, bra fitter and PR chick, but she's most at home writing about what to do and where to go in the city she loves.
Kelly's written for Curbed Seattle, Seattleite, and Seattle Met, and she pays the bills by copywriting. She lives for the Grand Salami Primo at Pagliacci, she isn't bothered by the inaccurate geography of Grey's Anatomy, and she simultaneously loves and loathes King County Metro.
